The Beginning
When I was young I spent a lot of time flipping through photographs in magazines. Especially all of the adventurous National Geographic magazines, which I still read and go through. Then I would dream that I was the photographer on location at all of those exotic places.
But, it was not until 2002 when I finally got a camera. It was nothing more than a fancy point and shoot but it did the job A few years later my wife bought me my first DSLR, the Nikon D3200 with the kit lenses 18-55 and 55-300. This was the camera that I learned to shoot in manual mode and take full advantage of the DSLR. After some 30,000 photos on that camera, I upgraded to full-frame Nikon D810.
The Real Deal
Once you shoot with a full-frame camera you really start to understand how far you can push light and exposure. The capabilities of a full-frame camera are incredible when compared to started cameras. The resolution, depth, and clarity of my photos from a full-frame camera were/are incredible!
My Passion
I live for the outdoors. Conservation, wildlife, hiking, and nature in general. So it only made sense for me to bring my camera into that world and capture nature as I see it through the lens. So nature photography has become one of my biggest passions as I expected it would way back when I was looking at those National Geographic magazines.
On this site, you will find my photography which you can buy and everything that I have learned throughout my photography passion.
